1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for or using WillBeDone, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

WillBeDone is operated by OneDeux ("we", "us", "our"). These terms form a binding agreement between you and us.

2. Description of service

WillBeDone is a personal commitment system that helps users define, commit to, and account for daily goals. It is not a medical, therapeutic, or professional productivity tool. It is software provided as-is.

The service requires an account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password.
  • You must provide an accurate email address. We use it to communicate service-related information.
  • You may not create accounts for others without their consent, or create accounts for any automated or non-human purpose.
  • You may delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent and all associated personal data will be removed within 30 days.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
  • Introduce malicious code, scripts, or automated bots.
  • Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others, including via the public sharing features.
  • Scrape or harvest data from the service without our written permission.
  • Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or authentication measures.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice where the violation is serious.

5. Your content

The commitments, notes, and other content you create in WillBeDone remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content for the sole purpose of providing the service.

We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your commitment text for advertising or to train machine learning models.

If you use the public sharing features (v2), content you explicitly share is made publicly accessible. You are responsible for ensuring shared content does not violate applicable law or these terms.

6. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be communicated where possible. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Intellectual property

The WillBeDone name, brand, design, and software are owned by OneDeux and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of productivity, or missed commitments.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €10 if the service was provided free of charge during that period).

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where OneDeux operates. Your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence are not affected by these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
